If your confused on what the difference between a mocha and latte is look no further! Here is a list of common coffee vocabs! 

1. Espresso

 

Description: A concentrated coffee brewed by forcing a small amount of nearly boiling water through finely-ground coffee beans.

 

Difference: It's the base for many other coffee drinks, known for its strong flavor and high caffeine content in a small amount of liquid.

 

2. Americano

 

Description: Espresso diluted with hot water.

 

Difference: Similar in strength to drip coffee but with a distinct espresso flavor.

 

3. Latte

 

Description: Espresso with steamed milk and a small amount of milk foam on top.

 

Difference: Creamy and smooth, with more milk than a cappuccino.

 

4. Cappuccino

 

Description: Equal parts espresso, steamed milk, and milk foam.

 

Difference: More foam and less milk than a latte, creating a stronger espresso flavor.

 

5. Macchiato

 

Description: Espresso with a small amount of steamed milk or milk foam.

 

Difference: Strong espresso flavor with just a touch of milk to soften the taste.

 

6. Mocha
